International Affairs Office

The purpose of international affairs office at Dagon University is “to increase global research and education opportunities for DU students and teaching staff”.
To fulfill the purpose, office of international affairs seeks to:

  • Build effective collaborations with global universities using affordable strategies and available resources for sustainability
  • Encourage and facilitate the collaborations with Dagon University’s departments and their partners to exchange faculty, students and teaching materials and to develop the curricula.
  • Facilitate faculty members in their teaching and research that involves collaborations higher education institutions abroad.
  • Engage students in educational and research experiences internationally
  • Encourage and facilitate students to participate in student abroad programs and international volunteer programs.
  • Increase the internationalization of the curriculum, library, campus and community.
  • Foster excellence in the study of liberal arts, international relations, social sciences and natural sciences.
  • Keep track of growth and document the successes of the international collaborations.
